“The 2024 Open Streets Windsor is coming to Via Italia and WindsorEats will be throwing a celebration for it! We're tag teaming with our friends Craft Heads Brewing Company and Phog Lounge to bring you a big neighbourhood party that's pet and family friendly. With one of the starting/ending points being mere steps from our patio, we'll be hosting vendors galore at WindsorEats and through the alleyways around Electric Avenue Art Alley. There will be live music and DJ's playing as well to greet all the walkers, cyclists, scooterists and more taking part in 2024 Open Streets Windsor. WindsorEats will be offering free walking tours of the murals throughout the Electric Avenue corridor at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. We're also working on other surprises in the neighbourhood that'll help make it a great day. Stay tuned for those announcements!”

 

“You're invited to the second annual CJAM 99.1FM Higher Ground Music & Art Festival!This year we're taking over historic Sandwich Towne on Saturday, September 28th from 4p.m.-2a.m. This free all-ages event will have four stages where you can experience a variety of music, poetry and visual art performances by local artists from Windsor and Detroit. Stages are located at Mackenzie Hall, Mary E. Bibb Park and Dominion House.Our headliner performance will be by the band Softcult, an alternative indie-rock duo from Kitchener, On. CJAM is a nonprofit campus-based community radio station providing music and information programming not offered by mainstream commercial media in the Windsor/Detroit area. This festival was made possible with sponsorship by the Gordie Howe International Bridge Community Benefits Plan, The Sandwich Towne BIA, The University of Windsor Graduate Student Society and Rock Bottom.”
